The teacher's role in education is very important. Teachers are professional educators, who have volunteered themselves to accept and assume some of the educational responsibilities that fall on the shoulders of parents. The teacher's role is to be able to encourage students to think critically in the learning being taught. The article will discuss the storytelling method, which is a method that involves students from the beginning of planning to presenting the report. Civics learning with this method is expected to be able to increase students to be able to have a critical mindset
