ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF EXCHANGE RATE, INTEREST RATE AND FOREIGN INVESTMENT ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN INDONESIA

This study aims to determine the effect of exchange rates, interest rates and foreign investment on economic growth and discuss it. The data used in this study are secondary data for 1992-2021 sourced from the National Statistics Agency and the World Bank. The analysis model in this study uses Multiple Linear Regression with the Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis model. The analysis shows that in the long run interest rates and foreign investment have a positive and significant effect on economic growth except the exchange rate. It is concluded that the variables of exchange rate, interest rate and foreign investment are the main variables that affect economic growth in the long and short term.
