As for the fourth chapter, it was devoted to the results of the research, including: 1- The (natural) environment is the main subject of both environmental criticism and land art. 2-Environmental criticism granted the human being (the artist) an active role in bringing about mutual effects between him and the surrounding environment. As for the conclusions: 1- The environment represents the basic reference for both the human being and the artist in his dealings with his external environment. 2- Environmental criticism bridges the relationship between what is industrial and what is natural. The research ended with recommendations, suggestions and a list of sources .
