Abstract

Forgery of a notary public agency is a serious legal crime that involves the manipulation of official documents issued by a notary public for illicit gain or to harm others. This forgery includes altering or forging signatures, falsifying the content of official documents, or using forged documents for illegal purposes. The effects of this crime range from financial damage to individuals and businesses, to harming public confidence in the legal system. Detection of such crimes can result in criminal prosecutions and severe penalties including imprisonment and fines. Legal and technological efforts to combat forgery of a notary public agency continue to ensure the integrity of official documents and protect the legal rights of individuals
