THE ROLE OF GOVERNANCE CULTURE IN IMPROVING THE TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERFORMANCE OF IRAQI SATELLITE TELEVISION CHANNELS

The success of any commercial or industrial project is linked to the administrative and financial aspect, and proper planning to implement the vision and goals of any institution, including media institutions such as satellite television channels. In order to achieve a high degree of success, governance rules and methods must be adopted. Therefore, the goal of this research is to identify “the role of governance culture in improving the technical and administrative performance of Iraqi satellite television channels.”. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the research goal. In view of the large number of satellite television channels, a sample of 4 satellite channels was chosen: (Al-Iraqiya General Channel, Al-Sharqiya Channel, Dijlah Channel, and Al-Etijah Channel). The questionnaire was adopted as a research tool and was distributed to managers and heads of departments in those channels
