Abstract

Democratic systems are based in their organization on the principle of separation of powers. Based on this, we find that the constitutions of these countries embrace this system as a means of opposing the absolute power of kings. This principle dates back to ancient times and finds its origin in Greek philosophy when it called Some Greek philosophers, such as Plato and Aristotle, later moved to the applied field, especially following the American and French revolutions, with a group of thinkers calling for it, especially Montesquieu and Jean-Jacques Roussea
