The concept of (evolution) in semantics is merely change, whatever it may be. Every change in the meanings of words or constructions is development, whether it is an increase in the meanings they denote, a decrease in them, or equality. The transmitted metaphor is called that; To release it from the restriction of resemblance, but that does not mean that it is a metaphor that is transmitted completely, rather there must be a certain connection or relationship between the original meaning of the word and the metaphorical meaning. The meaning of the expression is not transferred from the original meaning to the metaphorical meaning in an arbitrary manner, but rather there must be some relationship. , between the two connotations, such as for a causal relationship, or total or partial, or mechanical, or current or local, or naming a thing in terms of what it was or what it will be, or in its capacity, or something else. It is clear that these relationships between old meanings and new meanings are what lead to the transfer of meaning from one field to another, and the occurrence of what is called semantic development, and this is what we have proven in our research. This (transfer) may take place intentionally for a literary purpose, as it is one of the elements that... It is used for brevity, or for no creative or literary reason, such as necessity, for example. Speakers may move a utterance from its familiar domain to another unfamiliar domain when they lack the need for expression. However, in the Holy Qur’an, the transition is made through the transmitted metaphor with its many relationships, for a creative purpose at the level of words and meanings and even at the level of context, and we can define the transmitted metaphor: It is the word used intentionally in a way other than its original meaning to note a relationship other than (similarity) with a context, or an indicative relationship.
