Abstract

The research aims to identify some of the hidden aspects of natural disasters, especially the floods, which some researchers overlooked, and which affected Iraqi society during the Abbasid Caliphate era. And the damage caused by the floods to people's lives And public and private property, in addition to identifying the epidemics that killed people as a result of those floods, this study prompted the researcher to choose this topic because of its importance from the social, economic, political and religious aspects, as well as the migration caused by these floods.
