Abstract

In the article, the genesis of the folk tale "Dragon bird", which was artistically polished by the famous bakhshi-storyteller Rahmatullo Yusufoglu, is analyzed in detail. The author analyzed the plot parts of this fairy tale in comparison with the motifs found in other works. It also provided interesting information about the mythological basis of these episodes
