TEACHER'S STRATEGY IN IMPROVING STUDENT DISCIPLINE AT STATE ISLAMIC SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL INSAN CENDEKIA CENTRAL BENGKULU DISTRICT

Education is part of a process that is expected to achieve a goal. The goal is how to make an education quality, one of the quality of education is determined by the problem of discipline. Discipline problems of students are very important for school progress, because disciplined schools will create a good learning process. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This study aims to determine how disciplined students are and how the teacher's strategy is to improve student discipline at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Cendekia, Central Bengkulu Regency. The results showed that the level of student discipline at the school was quite good, this can be proven by the absentee data at the school, as for the teacher's strategy applied at the school in realizing discipline is to provide an explanation to the children that discipline is the main factor to achieve success. . Then the teachers are required to be disciplined for those who violate can be subject to sanctions with a warning from the principal, giving awards to children who are disciplined.
