DEVELOPMENT OF CONTEMPORARY CLINICAL ONCOLOGY THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF MEDICAL PHYSICS
Keywords:
oncology, medical physics, diagnostics, radiation oncologyAbstract
We see that contemporary clinical oncology is actively developing due to the fact that new diagnostics and treatments are being introduced that are based on physical processes. Radiology, hyperthermia, cryology, as well as photodynamic therapy, ultrasonic cavitation, information technologies are currently actively developing [1]. We must not forget that medical physics itself generates the development of new technologies. Biologically, current oncology implies a staged, abrupt development of the tumor process. The periods of development of a malignant neoplasm highlight certain characteristics that make it possible to target the methods of diagnosis and treatment of a tumor
