THE EFFECT OF POETIC NECESSITIES IN PRODUCING CONNOTATIONS OF RESTRICTION AND RELEASE IN THE POETRY OF IBN JABER AL-ANDALUSI

Abstract

This research revolves around highlighting the idea of the connotations of restriction and release according to the poet Ibn Jabir Al-Andalusi (d. 780 AH), that blind scholar of the Arabic language and an outstanding poet. I began this work by defining the connotations of restriction and release, then the first topic came: the necessities of meter, and in it I talked about the division of poetic meters. In the poetry of Ibn Jaber Al-Andalusi, then came the second section: it includes the necessities of rhyme and their impact on the techniques of restriction and release in the poetry of Ibn Jaber, then presented the results and the most important findings in the conclusion.
