The problem of strategic management of deposit money banks not substantially undergoing changes to keep pace with technological advancement to optimize operational efficiencies and remain competitive in an increasing digital market place necessitated this research in order to provide knowledgeable insight on the importance of incorporating digital transformation in their strategic decision making process. As a consequence, four research hypotheses were formulated. Using a sample of 170 employees from five major banks, the research examined the relationships between technological advancement, changing customer expectations, enhanced decision-making, and agile strategy development. Data was collected via structured questionnaire and analyzed using Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient. The findings revealed that changing customer expectations significantly impact enhanced decision-making and agile strategy development, while technological advancement does not show a significant effect on these variables. The study highlights the importance of aligning strategic management practices with evolving customer expectations to achieve better decision-making and agility. Recommendations include investing in customer-focused digital strategies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and flexibility within banks
Wegwu, Macaulay Enyindah Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://scholarzest.com/index.php/esj/article/view/4741 Fri, 11 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000 MOLECULAR MARKERS AND THEIR ROLE IN WILMS TUMOR https://scholarzest.com/index.php/esj/article/view/4744
Wilms tumor, also known as nephroblastoma, is a pediatric kidney cancer that is one of the most treatable solid tumors in children. However, in adults, Wilms tumor is a rare and often aggressive malignancy, with a less favorable prognosis compared to its pediatric counterpart. (Huszno et al., 2013) Understanding the molecular landscape of Wilms tumor is crucial for improving treatment strategies and patient outcomes. One of the key molecular markers in Wilms tumor is the WT1 gene, which plays a crucial role in regulating normal differentiation in various organs. Loss or overexpression of WT1 can result in different phenotypic consequences depending on the status of cellular differentiation, as well as its oncogenic or tumor-suppressor effect. In addition to WT1, other important markers in Wilms tumor include WT-2, WTCD34, p53, Ki-67, Bcl2, miR-100-5p, and miR-130b-3p (Hamilton & Shamberger, 2012). Patients with certain congenital anomalies, such as Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, WAGR syndrome, and Denys-Drash syndrome, have an increased risk of developing Wilms tumor (Varan, 2008). Recent advances in our understanding of Wilms tumor biology have had a significant impact on clinical treatment
Dr. Sarvar Temurovich Islomov, Dr. Sukhrob Abdurashidovich Tashmatov, Gafur-Akhunov Mirza-Ali , Tursunov Khasan Ziyayevich Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://scholarzest.com/index.php/esj/article/view/4744 Fri, 11 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000 PROBLEMS IN TEACHING ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES IN NON-LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITIES https://scholarzest.com/index.php/esj/article/view/4751
Teaching English for specific purposes (ESP) in non-linguistic universities faces a number of challenges that hinder students' language development and academic success. Primarily, this article focuses on four interrelated issues: insufficient opportunities for communication and practice of English, limited student autonomy, lack of creative thinking, and lack of specialized training for ESP teachers. As ESP teaching becomes essential in higher education, more attention is given to creating an academic environment that supports students’ independent learning and develops their creative thinking. Therefore, several methodological possibilities have been recommended to foster skills necessary not only for academic life but also for a globalized workforce. Moreover, the article discusses the principles of active authentic communication and student engagement in the classroom highlighting useful activities. Finally, tandem and collaborative ways of teaching have been suggested to blend language-focused strategies with field-specific pedagogies.
Valentina Normuratova, Aisulu Kinjemuratova Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://scholarzest.com/index.php/esj/article/view/4751 Sat, 12 Oct 2024 00:00:00 +0000 NATIONAL SPIRITUALITY IS THE KEY TO OUR DEVELOPMENT. https://scholarzest.com/index.php/esj/article/view/4763
One of the most important events in the life of man, humanity, society is human spirituality. In human history, however, attention to spirituality has been "peculiar." There are those who recognize spirituality, and those who do not recognize it. In fact, man from ancient times tried to distinguish good and evil, good and evil, creation and destruction, purity and uncleanness, spirituality and soullessness from each other.
Ph.D. Khudaiberdiev H.Kh.
