Abstract

The use of flexible resistance training according to modern and nontraditional training methods and methods and putting them into experimentation and research contributes effectively to increasing the effectiveness of the football game in all its fields and its various skill components, including physical ones, to raise the skill level, and through the experience of the researcher being one of the football players and teachers. Note the units The training is not commensurate with the nature of the performance of each of the basic skills in football and its motor requirements in terms of the nature of the muscular work on the joints around which movement occurs in terms of the quality of muscle contractions, which created a kind of monotony in performance and the absence of a clear development on the speed of play in general, so the researcher thought Using flexible resistance exercises and putting these exercises into practice and applying them by the research group would achieve tangible progress because the use of new and unconventional methods and means may shorten effort and time. The study aimed to identify the differences between pre and post tests in the development of some physical abilities and basic skills in football. For the research sample, the researcher assumed that he found statistically significant differences between the pre and post tests, some physical abilities and basic skills in football for the research sample. As for the research method, the researcher used the experimental approach, with the design of one experimental group, and the research sample consisted of (10) young players of Nasiriyah Club football in order to implement the study and achieve its objectives. As for the conclusions of the research, the most important of them was that the flexible resistance exercises that were used to develop physical and motor abilities increased the physical ability of the players and thus reflected on the development of basic skills in football. Or various auxiliary tools, especially for the muscles working in the lower extremities, the center muscles, and the arms, due to their importance in achieving integration between the physical and skillful side of football
