Abstract

Peritonitis is an inflammation of the peritoneum, which can lead to various body functions and also cause death. Inflammation is caused by bacterial infection of various kinds: E. coli, staphylococcus aureus, etc. Sometimes inflammation is caused by microflora of a specific kind, such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
