Abstract

Over the past 10-15 years, the problem of suppurative lung diseases has rarely been discussed in foreign literature, but remains as relevant for our country. With widespread destruction of the lungs caused by the association of highly virulent, polyresistant microorganisms, the results of treatment remain unsatisfactory to date and high mortality remains: with acute abscess it is 2.5- 4%, limited gangrene (gangrenous abscess) - 8-10%, common - 45-50%
