Abstract

The article considers the question of finding the position of planes crossing surfaces of revolution of the second order along an ellipse of a shape given by parameters. Ellipsoids, paraboloids, one-sheet hyperboloids, and cones are considered as examples of surfaces of revolution. The shape of the ellipse is the major and minor axis of the curves.
