The article provides feedback on the procedure, methods and principles of evaluation of evidence submitted to the court in civil cases (with and without disputes). The need for evidence evaluation, procedural possibilities and consequences, as well as the features of evidence evaluation in the example of some civil cases are described. In addition, scientific views are given on the methods of evaluating evidence on the basis of substantive and procedural law, as well as on the basis of the judge's internal confidence.
