This article examines the methodological foundations, forms, methods and features of small business and its management, and the theoretical views of many foreign and domestic scholars are reflected in the definitions given to the category of management and management. In the study of the methodological basis of small business and its management, special attention is paid to the periods of development of management theory and practice. It also provides conclusions on how to improve small business management in the current digital economy.
