Abstract

The article argues that the intensification of global climate change and the degradation of natural landscapes are leading to a sharp decline in the gene pool of domestic and livestock breeds worldwide and the complete extinction of some breeds. It is also stated that this situation affects the gene pool and productivity of karakul sheep, which supply unique and valuable sur karakul skins, and the role of biologically active substances in the blood in the preservation, restoration and reproduction of sur karakul sheep gene pool.
