Abstract

Simile is a method of statement, as old as expression. This is because it is the closest means of clarification and clarification, and the closest means of bringing distant meanings closer, and in it the picture is integrated and the scenes interact; To deliver an impactful message, and to achieve its psychological purposes through its function, which comes from its role in conveying feelings in multiple shapes and colors from one soul to another. Similes have been widely used in Quranic expression, as the Holy Qur’an prefers the expression of abstract meaning to the tangible image derived from the lives of those being addressed. Because this led to them understanding what he meant and being affected by it, as the meanings are covered with a beautiful guise, multiplying their powers in moving souls to them. Hence came the choice of the topic of this research, which I labeled (the simile and its psychological revelations in the Holy Qur’an)
