Abstract

The article discusses the benefits and drawbacks of the flipped classroom approach in teaching English language. The flipped classroom model is a new approach to teaching that involves students watching prerecorded lectures and completing readings at home, and then using classroom time for interactive activities, discussions, and collaborative projects. The article highlights the benefits of the flipped classroom model, including personalized learning, increased engagement, flexibility, and improved language skills. However, the article also acknowledges the drawbacks of the approach, such as technology issues, lack of structure, limited direct instruction, and time management challenges. The article concludes by emphasizing the importance of careful evaluation and planning before implementing the flipped classroom approach to ensure its effectiveness in enhancing teaching and improving student outcomes
