Abstract

The article analyzes and describes the agricultural skills of the herding peoples of the Fergana Valley, including the Karakalpak ethnic groups, based on scientific literature and field ethnographic materials. Information about the importance of farming in the economy of the Karakalpaks, its specific aspects, traditional and modern types of crops is given.
