Abstract

Much has been written, published, and presented about the important role of integrating technology in English language teaching (ELT) and the effects on students’ learning and teaching. Because of the many benefits that technology offers for both teaching and learning, an increasing number of English language instructors are attempting to incorporate it into their lesson plans. This article discusses the reasons and benefits of why technology should be promoted for English language learning in- and outside the classroom
