Abstract

Since its inception, Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, President of the National Wisdom Movement (NWM), has championed the protection of fundamental rights for all citizen groups, with a vision centered on human development as the core of existence. The movement emphasizes empowering youth and women both academically and intellectually, guided by the principles of moderation, balance, and honor in serving citizens directly, while promoting openness and constructive engagement with all societal components. The movement’s project focuses on preparing youth to participate in all state institutions based on an equitable balance between the citizen and society, contributing to building the foundations of a modern and just state. It also seeks to enhance citizens’ well-being economically, socially, and culturally. Within the framework of fundamental rights enshrined in the Iraqi Constitution, the National Wisdom Movement advocates for access to adequate housing, education, employment, healthcare, and the protection of the rights of individuals with disabilities and special needs, ensuring a life of dignity and well-being in society.
