Abstract

The regulatory protein SIR7 Homolog 7, also known as Sirtuin7, is one of the seven important types of sirtuins found in mammals. It is primarily located in the nucleus and is released from the nucleus into the nucleoplasm in response to stress. The aim of this study is to study the relationship between the level of sirtuin7 and some biochemical variables in patients with cardiovascular disease, in addition to studying the effect of smoking on all these variables in both groups of patients and healthy smokers. Blood samples were collected from 45 patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases and 45 blood samples from healthy individuals as a control group
