Abstract

The article reflects the expressive possibilities of the concept concept, and the definitions given to it by linguists are presented. It is determined that the concept is a mental concept related to thinking, and it is also a phenomenon directly related to national and cultural elements. It was discussed that certain concepts testifying to the mentality of the Uzbek and Karakalpak peoples have been raised to the concept level. In addition, the content of the concept shows the worldview of the linguists of a particular nation, their visions of the world, and the realization of various national and cultural symbols.
