Abstract

The research problem lies in investigating the effectiveness of teaching using interactive infographics as an innovative educational strategy to address geography learning difficulties and develop spatial interpretation skills among preparatory stage students in Iraq. This approach aims to enhance student interaction with the content and improve their ability to comprehend complex geographical concepts, transforming them into practically applicable knowledge. This raises the question: Are there statistically significant differences between the mean scores of preparatory stage students in pre-tests and post-tests in favor of teaching using interactive infographics to address geography learning difficulties and develop spatial interpretation skills? The study hypothesizes that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of preparatory stage students in pre-tests and post-tests in favor of teaching using interactive infographics to address geography learning difficulties and enhance spatial interpretation skills. To achieve the research objective of improving geography learning outcomes and developing spatial interpretation skills among preparatory students in Iraq, a quasi-experimental design was applied to a sample of 35 preparatory students. The results indicated a strong relationship between students’ mean scores in favor of teaching using interactive infographics. Based on these findings, it is recommended to generalize the results to other preparatory student groups to develop spatial interpretation skills across various geographical domains.
