Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the content and methods aimed at developing students’ professional skills within the framework of English lessons. In modern education, special attention is given to the formation of students’ professional competencies necessary for a successful career, not only in language but also in a globalized world. The purpose of the study is to identify methods that help develop such competencies through English language teaching. To achieve this goal, survey methods, interviews with teachers, monitoring of the educational process, and content analysis of educational materials were used. The results showed that project-based learning, the use of case methods, and the introduction of multimedia technologies contribute to more effective language acquisition and the development of professional skills. The article also discusses the impact of various factors on the quality of education, including teacher preparation and the use of innovative methods. The conclusions obtained can be useful for improving the quality of foreign language teaching and enhancing the preparation of students in the context of their professional activities.
